Well, my heroine this week is the beautiful lady space shuttle COMMANDER smiling up there in space right now!
I find it a little sad that, other than an author, 3 television personalities (2 "news" anchors and Oprah) and a couple of married women (first ladies) it's all politicians and business people. I suppose that makes sense since it comes from Forbes.
Perhaps we need our own list of powerful women - artists, writers, health care people, activists, workers for social justice....
